Howdy! My name is Hunter Martin, a senior Computer Science student from Texas A&M University.
I started towards my degree in Fall 2016, originally pursuing Chemical Engineering. It didn’t take me long to realize that my passion for computing was a lot bigger than chemistry, so I changed my major to computer science. I’m working on minors in Cybersecurity and in Business, and I’ve taken courses in Software Engineering and Distributed Objects Programming. I plan on taking courses in Artificial Intelligence and Computer and Network Security next semester.
I’m also an avid scuba diver and cook, but my biggest hobby is working in the Student Government Association representing my fellow students! Some signature pieces of legislation I’ve worked on include promoting minority inclusion on campus, rewriting election regulations, and Senate operations bills.
